Installation and conservation

☑ Where and how to install my artwork?

We recommend that you frame your artwork immediately to protect it from fingerprints and scratches. We also advise you not to hang it in a place that is too humid and to avoid exposing it to direct sunlight.

☑ My paper is curling, what should I do?

Paper is a plant material that is sensitive to humidity. If it absorbs too much moisture, its fibers swell and its surface warps. Conversely, paper can also return to a flat surface in a drier environment. If moving your artwork isn't enough, you can force the paper to stay flat by lining the bottom of your frame with clean, thick cardboard.

☑ My paper is yellowing, what should I do?

Yellowing of paper is a natural phenomenon caused by the oxidation of the lignin in its plant fibers by air and light. If you want to hang your artwork in a very bright place, we invite you to invest in a frame with anti-UV glass.

☑ Is it possible to archive my artwork?

If you are moving or want to change your decoration, you should know that it is entirely possible to keep your precious artwork. We advise you to store it flat in a drawing pocket, between a few sheets of tissue paper. If you store it like this, away from light and humidity, it can be kept intact for decades.
